1.   What is cellbanking?                                                    

Cellbanking is a revolutionary service offered by NBK and mtc touch, which allows all users to access their NBK bank accounts via their cellular phones.

 2.   Why should I use cellbanking?

NBK cellbanking offers you convenience-banking 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, wherever you are. Using state-of-the-art       online real time technology, you can access your accounts from anywhere around the world. All you need is a cellular phone and an NBK account.

 

3.    What can I do with cellbanking?

With NBK’s Cellbanking, you can specify the terms on which NBK should alert you. You will receive these alerts each time the the transaction you specified is executed. For example, maybe you want us to alert you when:

 

ÈYour salary has been deposited into your account showing the final balance.

ÈYour ATM card has been used at a clothing store.

ÈYour telephone bill has been paid.

 

4.      Are there any charges for cellbanking?

The cellbanking charge is 3$ on a monthly basis.

5.      What do I need in order to use cellbanking?

All you need is to open an account and sign an application at any of NBKL branches.

6.   If I am not an mtc touch subscriber, can I still benefit from cellbanking?

You can benefit from any alert you specify on the application.         

7.  How do I apply for cellbanking?

Simply visit any of our branches and fill out the cellbanking application form.  Our branches are found in the following locations: Ashrafieh, Bhamdoun, Chiah, Dora, Hamra, Jounieh, Mazraa, and Sanayeh (Head Office).

8. How do I know my transactions and requests have been executed?

You will receive an alert message on your cellular phone once your transactions or requests have been executed.

9. Are there any security risks with cellbanking?

All transactions made via your cellular phone are encrypted.
